Went for third run in as many days hopefully the headaches are now a thing of the past.
Still working on the 'Tankini' strip.

Marker, pencil crayon, pen and ink.
This is a colouring experiment for the Tankini strip, I don't think it has the right balance. I'm also not convinced it looks like the character is climbing out of a pool.

Those who know me will know I've been sitting on this idea for years, I've spent most of the day steaming ahead on a 3 page strip featuring 'Tankini'.
Inception broke my head by the way, awesome film, highly recommended.

Went for my first run in ages this morning, a morning run wasn't even a remote possibility when the headaches were at their worst.
Am off to see Inception at the IMAX shortly and am rather excited.

Can't seem to get motivated today, just sat through all of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. My word, how bad is that film and the special effects are shocking.
Gonna try the drawing board again, here's hoping some motivation/inspiration strikes me.

This was completely un-thought about, I have a tendancy to over layout a drawing.
This was literally "Ooh, that's a cool image, let's try and do a version."
30 minutes later. "Right, leave it."

OK, so this Doodle of the Day malarky didn't last long, but I do have a genuine excuse.
I haven't been very well, culmintating in a camera having to be put up my nose to have a look at the back of my sinuses. Nice.

Designed and built by me and my Dad, all the shiney metal is actually sterling silver, my Dad's a Goldsmith so built it all from scratch to my specifications. See some of his stuff at his site, just click here.

I finished this painting on Thursday evening, (you can see a work in progress in my previous post) but having subsequently made a flying visit to London I've only had a chance to upload an image this morning.

| Swingin' painting |
When I have the chance I love to paint, so spent the day doing just that.
I have rather a soft spot for the design and style sensibilities of the 1960's so have been trying to keep the painting 'cool'. That was the intention but my efforts seem to have turned out as rather 'Jason Brooks'-esque. Not such a bad thing, I really admire his work.

...and here it is a web-site that finally focuses on the work itself; not the design or build of the site that it's presented within.
It's taken a bit of work, and a lot of "don't need this", "don't need that", basically whatever distracted the viewer away from the work itself I removed.
Though it may look like the simplest site I've created it actually seems to have been the most complicated to build... and I'm no Coder.
So honourable mentions go to: Stu "Cheers, I owe you." and Mark "Thanks".
But at the end of the day (footballers favourite catch-phrase), I hope y'all like it.
There are IE bugs to be sorted but that'll be fixed shortly, if your're viewing this in Safari, Firefox or IE10, it'll work fine.
